The stroller handlebar height is a
critical feature...
Stroller handlebar comfort is a deal breaker because a hunched-back run is no fun at all. Stroller handlebar height seems to be less of a problem for shorter parents.
In fact, many shorter Moms report better leverage pushing against standard height handlebars (especially when going uphill). However, hunching over to push against low-slung handlebars is a nightmare for taller parents.
If you are a both tall parents, select a jogging stroller with
a
handlebar that is sufficiently high for both of you. If one parent is
tall while the other is much shorter, choose a jogging stroller with a
handlebar that is adjustable to accommodate both parents. Better brands
provide this feature.
What to look for...
Handlebar height is the distance from your elbow to the ground when standing straight.
So what is a comfortable handlebar height?
Stand straight and grip the handlebar. If your forearm (wrist to elbow) is parallel to the ground, then you've got a comfortable handlebar height.

Most handlebars are about 40 inches high and others are adjustable to levels below and above the 40 inch mark.
For example the Mountain Buggy Urban Single's handlebar can adjust from 32 inches up to 42 inches.
Tips and Tricks...
For really tall parents, here is a neat trick. You can actually get a little boost in handle bar heigoggght by choosing bigger wheels.
Going from 16” to 20” wheels will buy you an additional 2” in overall stroller height. (If you are not a math-nerd, overall height changes by the difference in wheel radius).
