Stroller dimensions mean the height, length, and width
of the jogging stroller. 

These elements will impact several things: Baby's comfort, portability, storage, and accessibility.

It's easier if we look at it in  three parts:

1. internal dimensions
2. external dimensions
3. folded dimensions

Internal Dimensions

Internal stroller dimensions refer to seat width, headroom. These things will impact your baby's comfort during the ride.

Pay particular attention to seat-back height which usually varies from 18 to 23 inches.

Seat depth is around 10 inches, and the knee to foot length is typically 12 inches.

 Seat width (see item "E" in picture below) is typically around 18 inches on most single jogging strollers.

External Dimensions

External dimensions refer to the overall length and width of the jogging
stroller when in use. This determines accessibility. Width is especially important because it determines your ability to get the jogging stroller through narrow aisles, and tight doorways. Most running strollers are about 23 to 27 inches wide (see item "D" in picture on the right).

Here's a neat trick: When measuring external width, remember to measure the full distance of the wheel-base, including the lug-nuts that hold the wheel in place! These nuts stick out on each side making the real width greater than a wheel-to-wheel measurement. Height is critical to parent comfort when running and usually refers to the maximum height of the handlebar from the ground. It usually varies from 30 to 47 inches.

Another important measurement you need to consider is handlebar height. Folded Dimensions

Folded stroller dimensions refer to the size of the jogging stroller when folded.
Of course, this impacts storage and the all important issue of getting the stroller easily in and out of your car! 

How small the stroller will fold depends on if the wheels can be removed or not.  If the wheels stay on, the best strollers will fold into a package about 2 feet wide, 2 feet high, and 3 feet long.  If the wheels come off, then the package is alot smaller.
